Now, in this guide to beaches of Goa, the beautiful Ashwem beach. This beach is located in North Goa, and you can see its exact location on the map below. The beach is quite long, about 2 km. Its south part reaches Morgim beach, and the north part adjoins Mandrem. It’s an easy beach to find, with many accesses. It still remains a beach not too busy, pleasant and with plenty of space, but not for long…
I let you now enjoy the pictures. We’ll start from the south part of the beach, and then go up to the north of it.

Even more closer, we can see the coconut grove bording the beach, right in the middle of it.
If you like to walk, Ashwem beach is a good choice. Same if you like cycling: you have plenty of small roads around with little traffic. And of course, this beach is facing west, so you can admire wonderful sunsets.
April is the time to dismantle the beach shacks, and this calf can shelter from the sun.

The beach is big and the wind strong enough to practice sand-yachting.
And you can also rest on these beach beds in the shade of these palm and bamboo structures: the sun is really hot here!
And now, in this last page, we finish our round of Ashwem beach with some pictures of the beach access.
On the right side of the picture below, the road goes in a straight line towards north, running in parallel to the beach, getting closer and closer to it, and then turns inside towards the village of Mandrem.
The left road you see leads to the south part of the beach, where you saw the big rocks on the shore.

At the junction, if you turn left, you drive along a small road through the paddy fields before reaching the beach.
The way you see above is the longest to reach the beach. But you have many other accesses all along the main road, and some accesses are easy, like on the picture below.

Plenty of beach shacks and other structures spread between the road and the beach, and sometimes you have to pass through them to get to the beach.

HOW TO GET TO ASHWEM BEACH?
You can reach Ashwem beach either from Mandrem on the north or from Morjim on the south. From Morjim you can take different ways in the village itself. Just head north, the road will lead you to Ashwem. And if you come from the north, Arambol or Mandrem beach, the main turn to Ashwem beach at the end of the village of Mandrem which is inside the land. The touristic boards are there to show you the way.
